Wayne, NJ:  The Ramapo College women's basketball team fell to the Pioneers of William Paterson tonight on the road, 42-66, in their first New Jersey Athletic Conference match-up of the season.  With the loss the Roadrunners fall to 1-4 overall and 0-1 in conference play.  The Pioneers jump out to a 1-0 record in the conference and 3-1 overall.
 
The Pioneers led Ramapo in all four quarters and held Ramapo to just five points in the third quarter coming out with a 66-42 victory over Ramapo in a New Jersey Athletic Conference match-up on the Pioneers' home court.  William Paterson shot 24-66 (36%) as a team and was led by 12 points from Jackie Rodriguez and 11 points from Sara Luberto.  Brittany Harden and Ariana Gomez each contributed ten to the win.  Alisa Giordano dished out three assists and Harden grabbed three steals, while Gomez, Sadi Bridgeman and Alex Mine each pulled down six rebounds.
 
For Ramapo, Kellie Lane shot 4-10 from the field leading the Roadrunners with 12 points while Doris Ilic chipped in eights points of her own.  The team shot a combined 13-44 (30%) in the loss.  Lane contributed two assists, Bintou Berete grabbed three steals, and Alyson Oostdyk led in rebounds with seven. 
 
Ramapo returns to action on November 30th when they travel to John Jay College for a 6pm tip.
