Glassboro, NJ: The Rowan University women's soccer team shutout Ramapo College tonight 1-0. The Profs improve to 8-1-1 overall, 3-0-1 in the NJAC while the Roadrunners drop to 6-3-1 overall 1-2-1 in the conference.
The first half saw the Profs edge Ramapo in shots 4-3 but neither team could find the back of the net. In the second half, Rowan's Danni Ketzinger netted her first goal of the season off pass from Melissa Kelly, her third assist of the year in the 54th minute (53:32) to take a 1-0 lead. The Rowan defense and Courtney Simpson would make sure the shutout held in the final minutes of the game for the victory. Simpson collected four saves in her third shutout of the season, the teams sixth of the year.

Jessica Cusick recorded five saves in the game while
Gabriella DiLiberto tallied three shots, two on goal.
Nicole Ninomiya and
Sydney Kauffman each collected one shot on goal for Ramapo.
The Roadrunners return to action on Saturday, October 10th when they host NJAC rival Rutgers-Camden University at the Athletic Center at 1pm.
