Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's soccer team defeated NJAC rival Rutgers-Camden University 4-0 today at the Athletic Center. The Roadrunners improve to 7-3-1 overall, 2-2-1 in the NJAC while the Scarlet Raptors fall to 3-6-1 overall, 0-3-1 in the conference.

Nicole Ninomiya put the Roadrunners on the board in the second minute of the game (1:51) with a header off a cross from junior
Kelsey Sutherland, 1-0. Ninomiya tallied her second goal of the game and ninth of the season in the 17th minute (16:17) off a pass from senior
Alexa Ragusa, 2-0. Rookie
Jessica Raccioppi scored her first collegiate goal of her career when she blasted a shot high past the keep in the 44th minute (43:54). Senior captain
Autumn Herring assisted on Raccioppi's goal.
In the second half, Ramapo got their fourth goal from junior
Gabriella DiLiberto, her second of the season, in the 48th minute (47:10). Herring and Ragusa each collectd an assist.
Ramapo led 26-12 in shots in the game and 5-1 in corner kicks.
Jessica Cusick recorded six saves in her third shutout of the season. For the Scarlet Raptors, goalkeeper Angela Martorano made 11 saves, including ten in the first half.
The Roadrunners return to action when they host NJAC rival New Jersey City University on October 14th at 3pm.
