Oneonta, NY: The Ramapo College women's volleyball team improved to 16-7 overall tonight as they defeated Oneonta College, 3-1 (25-21, 25-22, 19-25, 25-22) in their opening match-up of the 2015 Dig Pink Invitational. Oneonta falls to 17-12.
It was sophomore
Larysa Iwaskiw who led the Roadrunners to the 3-1 victory as she hit .197 with a team leading 25 kills and 17 digs. The team combined for 50 kills on 155 attempts with 24 errors hitting .168 in the win.
Kaitlin Mac Iver dished out a team high 40 assists and
Natalia Saavedra picked up 14 digs. Mac Iver added 12 digs in the win and
Kristen Behrens added 11 of her own on the night.
Ramapo returns to action tomorrow as they face off with Bard College at 10am.
