Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's tennis team defeated Rutgers-Camden University, 8-1, in a NJAC conference match today at the Athletic Center.
The Roadrunners record their ninth straight win and improve to, 9-1 overall and 3-1 in the NJAC. The Scarlet Raptors fall to 3-5 overall and 1-2 in the NJAC.
The Roadrunners won all three doubles matches, earning three team points in the process.
Micala Demchak and
Ivy Schuckman posted an, 8-0, win to highlight the doubles matches.
Vasundhra Gandotra defeated Angela Errigo, 6-2, 6-2 at second singles while
Katrina Biss won at third singles, 6-1, 6-0, over Kelsey Mercer.
Sara Luby blanked Theresa Adamson at fourth singles, 6-0, 6-0 and
Micala Demchak posted a, 6-1, 6-4 win over Christine Abacan.
Sabrina Koropchak also posted a shutout win, 6-0, 6-0 at sixth singles over Donna Safar.
The Roadrunners return to action when they travel to Kean University for a NJAC match on October 7th at 3:30pm.
