Galloway, NJ: The Ramapo College women's soccer team fell to Richard Stockton College today on the road, 0-3. The Ospreys improve to, 5-4 overall and 1-0 in the NJAC while the Lady Roadrunners now stand at 1-4-2 overall, 0-1 in the conference.
Stockton got on the board in the first half when Chelsea James scored her first goal of the season off a corner kick from Adrianna Boucher in the 12th minute (11:10), 1-0. Boucher earned her second assist of the game when she fed Keara Homan in the 28th minute (27:07) for a, 2-0, lead.
In the second half, Marissa Bruno tallied her second goal of the season off a penalty kick in the 66th minute of play (65:31), extending the Osprey lead to, 3-0.
Stockton held a 13-7 lead in shots in the game while they recorded six corner kicks to Ramapo's five.
Taylor Marcialis posted five saves for the Roadrunners while Lauren Haynes recorded two for the Ospreys.
The Roadrunners return to action on September 27th when they host William Paterson University at 1pm.
