Newburgh, NY: The Ramapo College women's tennis team improved to, 7-1, overall with a road win at Mount Saint Mary College. The Roadrunners shutout the Knights, 9-0, for their seventh straight win.
Carly Agrifolio and
Vasundhra Gandotra earned an, 8-1, win at first doubles while
Sara Luby and
Sabrina Koropchak shutout their opponent at second doubles, 8-0.
Micala Demchak and
Ivy Schuckman posted an, 8-3, win at third doubles.
Agrifolio had the toughest match at first singles, coming away with a 3-6, 6-3, 10-4 victory. Gandotra posted a, 6-2, 6-0, win at second singles while Luby won, 6-0, 6-2 at third singles. Biss recorded a shutout at fourth singles, 6-0, 6-0 while Demchak won at fifth singles, 6-1, 6-0.
Elena Maria Ilieva tallied a, 6-2, 6-0, win at sixth singles.
The Roadrunners return to action September 23rd when they host Saint Thomas Aquinas College at 3pm.
