Madison, NJ: The Ramapo College field hockey team fell to FDU-Florham today on the road, 3-1.The Roadrunners drop to 1-5 overall while the Devils improve to 3-2 on the season.
The Devils scored one goal in the first half to take a 1-0 lead. Kim Davis scored off a pass from Alexa Paparo in the 25th minute of the game. The Devils held a 4-0 shot advantage in the half.
FDU-Florham scored the eventual game winning goal in the 62nd minute of the game with a shot from Stephanie Geskes off a penalty corner. The Roadrunners got their lone goal from rookie
Gianna Mouskourie in the 65th minute. Jodie Crutchley tallied an unassisted goal for the Devils in the final minute of play for the 3-1 victory.
The Devils held a 16-1 advantage in shots and also a 21-3 advantage in penalty corners in the game. Junior
Emily Kramer posted ten saves in the game for Ramapo. Amy Defnet and Samantha Klimaszew split time in the cage for the Devils without having to make a save.
The Roadrunners return to action on Tuesday, September 16th when they host #9 The College of New Jersey at 4pm.
