Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's tennis team posted a, 9-0, win over NJAC rival Rutgers-Newark University today at the Athletic Center.
The Roadrunners extend their win streak to five straight matches and improve to 5-1 overall, 2-1 in the NJAC.
Carly Agrifolio and
Vasundhra Gandotra posted an, 8-6, win at first doubles while
Sara Luby and
Sabrina Koropchak won at second doubles, 8-3.
Katrina Biss and
Micala Demchak posted a shutout win, 8-0, at third doubles.
In singles action, three matches played to an 8-game proset. Agrifolio posted an, 8-3, win at first singles while Gandotra shutout her opponent at second singles, 8-0, and
Katrina Biss won at fourth singles, 8-4.
Koropchak posted a 6-1, 6-0 win at third singles while Demchak earned a 6-3, 6-2 win at fifth singles.
Elena Maria Ilieva remained undefeated on the season with her win at sixth singles, 6-1, 6-0.
The Roadrunners return to action on September 17th when they host Farmingdale State College at 5pm.
