Allendale, NJ: The Ramapo College field hockey team posted an, 8-2, win over Wells College. The game was played at Northern Highlands High School.

The Roadrunners (1-0) tallied three first half goals while the Express (0-1) posted one of their own. Ramapo's Nicole Healy scored the first goal of the game off a pass from Christina Bacino in the 15th minute. Gianna Mouskourie netted her first goal of the game and second for Ramapo, unassisted in the 17th minute.

Chandler Fitzgerald scored off a pass from Marina Fargnoli for Wells to come within one, 1-2, before Mouskourie took a pass from Kelsey Lawrence; hitting the back of the cage for a, 3-1, Ramapo lead heading into halftime.

In the second half, Ramapo scored five straight goals and held Wells to only one late in the half to come away with an, 8-2 win. Megan Minneci scored back to back goals before Mouskourie made it a hat-trick with an unassisted goal to take a, 6-1, lead. Kelly Koss scored an unassisted goal before Bacino tallied her first goal of the game, also unassisted with ten minutes left the second half.

Courtney Bastian scored Wells' second goal of the game off a pass from Nicole Sales with just under seven minutes to play in the game. The Roadrunners held the Express the rest of the way for the win.

Emily Kramer earned the win in the cage for the Roadrunners, she tallied one save in 55:13 minutes of play. Emily Wisneski closed out the game for Ramapo. The Roadrunners held a 24-5 advantage in shots for the game and a 11-3 advantage in penalty corners.

The Roadrunners return to action on September 3rd when they host Union College at 4pm.
