Galloway, NJ:  The #4 Ramapo College women's volleyball team fell to conference rival #1 Richard Stockton College, 1-3 (25-22, 22-25, 15-25, 18-25) in the semifinals of the NJAC Women's Volleyball Tournament.

The Osprey's, who snapped Ramapo's eight match win streak, advance to the NJAC Championship match on Saturday afternoon. Stockton will host #2 Rowan at 2pm. The Roadrunners (25-9) moved up two spots to sixth overall in the final published NCAA New York regional poll while Stockton dropped to fourth.

Rookie Larysa Iwaskiw led Ramapo with 16 kills in the four-set match. She also tallied three aces and 17 digs. Senior Katelyn Ward recorded eight kills and five total blocks, including three solo. Sophomore Irmak Dagistanli helped lead the team on defense with 19 digs while junior Emily Harris and sophomore Natalia Saavedra tallied 16 and ten digs respectively. Junior Kaitlin Mac Iver dished out a team high 38 assists in the match and recorded ten digs.

For the Osprey's, Lindsay Schuele and Ali Giordano each collected 13 kills in the match while Kara Glynn and Macy Schwartz each tallied seven of their own. Jessica Ciandella and Shannon Clark dished out 26 and 23 assists respectively while Rebecka Zabilowicz led the team with 32 digs.

The Roadrunners will now wait to hear of a possible bid to the NCAA or ECAC Tournament.
