Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's volleyball team defeated The City College of New York, 3-0 (25-11, 25-23, 25-12). The Roadrunners earn their third straight win and improve to 17-6 overall while the Beavers fall to 5-13 overall.
The Roadrunners were led by
Rachel Selmore who posted nine kills and hit .212 in the match. She also posted seven digs and one ace.
Katelyn Ward tallied six kills on 12 attempts and hit .417 in the match while she posted three solo blocks.
Sarah Bowbliss tallied four kills on four attempts while
Emily Guzman recorded eight kills of her own.
Kaitlin Mac Iver dished out 12 assists while
Nicole Herrmann posted nine assists.
Emily Harris led the team on defense with 16 digs.
For the Beavers, Leticia Marotti posted ten kills in the match to lead the team while Saye-Chantl Joseph added seven kills of her own. Kathleen Dos Santos dished out 19 assists while Marotti and Joseph posted 11 and 12 digs respectively.
The Roadrunners return to action when they host NJAC rival Rowan University on October 14th at 7pm.
