Pomona, NJ:  The Ramapo College women's tennis team improved to 12-1 overall, 5-1 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference today as the defeated the Ospreys of Richard Stockton College, 6-3 on the road. With the loss the Ospreys fall to 7-3 overall, 4-3 in conference play.
Carly Agrifolio defeated Sam Koropchak at first singles, 6-2, 7-5, to give the Roadrunners a point right from the start. A win at second singles from Stockton's Sydni Fahringer, 6-0, 3-6, 6-1, tied the match at one point each, before 
Katrina Biss gave the Roadrunners a one point lead with a 6-1, 7-5 win at third singles. 
Sara Luby grabbed a point at fourth singles, dropping Gianna Letinski, 6-2, 6-3, and Scout Bauer and Brynn Buechler of Stockton, wrapped up singles play collecting wins in the final two match-ups. Bauer went 6-3, 6-2 over 
Micala Demchak, and Buechler collected a 6-2, 6-2 win over Elena Maria Ilieve in the final singles spot.
The Roadrunners swept doubles action to earn the 6-3 conference win. Agrifolio and 
Sabrina Koropchak earned an 8-4 win at first doubles, before Biss and 
Vasundhra Gandotra collected a point at second doubles with an 8-3 win of their own. Demchak and Luby wrapped up the night taking down the Osprey pair, 8-4.
The Roadrunners return to action this Spring season, and wrap up the 2014 fall season in 2nd place in the NJAC.
