Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

TCNJ GETS PAST RAMAPO, 1-0

Ewing, NJ:  The Ramapo College men's soccer team fell to the Lions of the College of New Jersey today on the road to fall to 7-7-2 overall and 1-5-1 in conference play.  The Lions improve to 6-8-1 overall, 2-5 NJAC, with the one goal victory.

Junior Ryan Sullivan scored the game's only goal on a penalty kick in the 32nd minute. A Ramapo handball in the box gave the Lions a penalty kick. Sullivan converted for his second goal of the season with 8:28 to play in the first half.  The score held until halftime where Ramapo held a 7-4 advantage in shots. 

The second half went scoreless as Ramapo again held an advantage in shots, 7-5. 

On the day, Brady O'Connor made one save in net for the Roadrunners and Maciej Libucha blocked four for the Lions, earning the shut out win.

Ramapo hosts Western Connecticut State University at 3pm on Wednesday, October 22nd when they return to action at the Athletic Center.
