Box Score Newark, NJ: The Ramapo College men's basketball team fell to NJAC rival Rutgers-Newark University, 64-61, tonight at the Golden Dome. The Roadrunners fall to 5-8 overall, 2-4 in the NJAC while the Scarlet Raiders improve to 8-5 overall and 4-2 in the conference.
Ramapo out scored Rutgers-Newark in the first half 40-27 as
Terry Hicks scored 20 points to lead the Roadrunners. The game was a tale of two halves as the Scarlet Raiders came back to defeat Ramapo in the second half, 37-21, as they came away with the three point victory, 64-61.
Hicks finished the game with 21 points while rookie
George Sapp added ten points of his own.
Ramapo returns to action when they host NJAC rival Rowan University at the Bradley Center on Saturday, January 11th at 3pm.
