The Roadrunners responded with two runs in the bottom of the 2nd inning. With two outs, Hannah Mucerino doubled to left field, and later came home as Kent drove a single to left field.  Kent tagged home plate with a RBI single from Lima.

In the 5th and 6th innings, Ramapo tacked on insurance runs from Smith, who homered in the 5th, and Lima, who reached base on a single and came home on a sac fly from Smith in the 6th.  It almost wasn't enough as Taylor Setar blasted a home run over the left field fence in the top of the 7th to close the gap to just one run.  With bases loaded, and two outs, junior pitcher Nicole Schneider struck out the final batter for NJCU, posting her eighth win of the season, (8-8).
