Hilton Head, NC:  The Lady Roadrunners defeated Roosevelt University, 9-0, today in a women's tennis match-up in Hilton Head, SC.  With the victory the women improve to 10-3 overall on the year.

Senior Haley Downing paired up with rookie Katrina Biss at first doubles, earning an 8-6 win, before Sara Luby and Micala Demchak posted an 8-1 win of their own at second doubles.  Stephanie Abrecht and Ivy Schuckman posted a third doubles sweep, 8-0, giving Ramapo three points heading into singles action.

Downing collected a first singles win defeating Carina Balan, 6-1, 6-3 and Luby followed it up with a 6-7, 7-6, 10-6 win of her own.  Abrecht went 6-2, 6-2 in the third singles spot and Biss collected an 8-3 win in the four spot. Demchak and Maegan Heaney wrapped up singles action, and the match, with 6-0, 6-2 and 6-0, 6-0 wins respectively.

The Lady Roadrunners return to action on Thursday, March 21st, when the take on Graceland (Iowa) at 2:30 PM.
