Princeton, NJ: The Ramapo College women's indoor track and field team competed at the Princeton Invite today hosted by Princeton University at Jadwin Gym.
Rookie
Emily Brock placed 8th overall and won the second heat in the 3000-meter race with a new school record and ECAC qualifying time of 10:39.84.
In the mile run,
Christa McLeod set a new school record and personal best time of 5:20.85 as she placed 7th overall.
Deanna Dragone placed 8th overall with an indoor personal best time of 5:21.62.
Three Roadrunners placed in the 800-meter race.
Brianna Springsteadah posted an ECAC qualifying time and set a new indoor personal best, 2:21.30, as she placed eighth overall.
Katie Walsh clocked in at 2:22.20 for an 11th place finish while
Rachel Herrick placed 13th overall in 2:25.38.
Taylor Furman posted a season's best mark in the weight throw with a mark of 14.57-meters (47' 9.75"). She also recorded a mark of 11.23-meters (36' 10.25") in the shot put.
Anita Rogers took home a fourth place finish in the long jump with a mark of 5.55-meters (18' 2.5") while she placed second overall in the triple jump with a mark of 11.83-meters (38' 9.75").
The Roadrunners return to action when they travel to the 2012-2013 NJAC Championships at the New York Armory on February 22nd.
