Mahwah, NJ:  The Ramapo College women's tennis team improved to 3-0 overall and 3-0 in the NJAC with a 9-0 win over conference foe, Rutgers-Newark University (2-3 overall, 0-3 NJAC) today at the Athletic Center.

Hayley Downing and Ivy Schuckman teamed up at first doubles to take the match 8-6 while Sara Luby and Katrina Biss won at second doubles 8-4.

In singles action, Maegan Heaney was able to shutout her opponent at sixth singles for a 6-0, 6-0 win. Downing won at first singles, 6-3, 6-1 while Luby won at second singles, 6-1 and 6-0.

The Roadrunners return to action tomorrow afternoon at 3:00 pm when then take on NJAC rival the College of New Jersey.
