Box Score Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College baseball team posted a 31-0 non-conference victory over John Jay College today at Jeff Maund Field. The Roadrunners improve to 5-0 while the Bloodhounds fall to 1-13 overall.
Senior
Frank Baldini improved to 2-0 on the season as he fired a 1-hitter into the sixth inning. He fanned nine and walked none. Junior
Travis Zilg pitched the final inning for the Roadrunners in the 7th as the game was called due to darkness. Zilg struck out one and did not surrender a hit.
The Roadrunners scored two runs in the first inning as a hit by pitch and two walks loaded the bases before senior
Dan Moreno recorded a sacrifice fly to centerfield plating junior

Dan Mauriello belted a sacrifice fly to centerfield, scoring the game's second run as sophomore

The bats came alive in the second inning as Ramapo scored 16 runs on nine hits. The inning was highlighted by Jacob's two-run home run over the leftfield wall. Ramapo scored runs in the fourth, fifth and seventh innings.
Junior
Matthew Hancock led the Roadrunners with five RBI as he went 2-2 with two runs scored while rookie
Kevin Case was 2-3 at the plate with three RBI and one run scored.
Ramapo returns to action when they travel to Winter Haven, FL to compete in the Russ Matt Tournament. They will take on Westfield State College on Saturday, March 17th at 9:30AM.
