Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's tennis team remained undefeated in the New Jersey Athletic Conference with a 7-2 win over rival Richard Stockton College today.

The Roadrunners posted a 2-1 team advantage coming out of doubles play with wins at second and third doubles before Ramapo took two through five spots in singles action.

Jywel Almirante and Nicole Pitts won at second doubles, 8-2 before Hayley Downing and Stephanie Abrecht shutout their opponent, 8-0.

Almirante won at second singles, 6-2, 6-1 while Pitts won at third singles, 6-2, 6-4. Downing defeated Laura Church, 6-2, 6-2 before Brittany Pitts won at fifth singles, 6-1, 6-1.

Ramapo returns to action when they host NJAC defending champion, The College of New Jersey on September 21st at 3:30 PM.
