Box Score Riverdale, NY:  The Ramapo College women's soccer team fell to New York University today, 3-1 in their season opening game. 

NYU got on the board with a goal with under a minute left to play in the first half by Claire Shanahan as she was assisted by Nicole Anzalone. NYU added two more goals during the second half sandwhiched around a Ramapo penalty kick. NYU was called for a hand ball in the box.

Susan Hayes converted the PK for the Roadrunners lone goal of the game. Talia Auslin recorded nine saves in the game.

Ramapo returns to action on September 7th in the team's home opener. They take on SUNY New Paltz at 4:00pm on the grass field.
