Box Score Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's soccer team fell to the Scarlet Raptors of Rutgers-Camden University today, 2-0, at the Athletic Center turf field. The Roadrunners fall to 3-10-2 overall, 1-5 in the NJAC while Scarlet Raptors improve to 2-10-2, 2-4-1 NJAC.
The Scarlet Raptors took a 1-0 lead in the 16th minute when Katie Angelosante ripped a shot into the back of the net off a pass from Sarah Kooistra, her third goal of the season. Rutgers-Camden scored a insurance goal in the second half (74:29) as Rachel Sindoni posted her second goal of the year.
Leighanna Milby posted four saves in the shutout victory while
Talia Auslin posted five for Ramapo.
The Scarlet Raptors held a 11-7 advantage in shots in the game while the teams were even with one corner kick a piece.
The Roadrunners return to action on Monday when they travel to NJAC rival Rowan University at 7pm.
