Mahwah, NJ:  Rookie Michelle Favre (Saddle Brook, NJ) is representing Ramapo College at the 2010 NCAA Division III National Championship, scheduled for Saturday at DePauw University located in Greencastle, Indiana.

Favre will be competing in the pole vault event after hitting a mark of 3.60 meters (11'9.75") at the Bison Open in December, recording an indoor school record and a NCAA Provisional mark.  Favre improved on her NCAA Provisional mark when she cleared 3.65-meters (11'11.75"), breaking her own school record, at the Harvard Open, before again reaching a provisional mark hitting 3.55 meters (11'7.75") at the Great Dane Classic on January 22nd.  She cleared 3.60-meters at the Lafayette/Rider Invitational before capturing the pole vault crown, when she cleared 3.71-meters at the NJAC Championships.  She was named the Rookie of the Year for her efforts. Her mark again was a new school record, a personal best and a NCAA provisional.

Favre is a 5-time NJAC Athlete of the week and is currently #14 overall in the event.
