Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's basketball team won their tenth game of the season with a 57-48 victory over the Hawks from Hunter College. The Roadrunners in the final game of the season improved to 10-15 while the Hawks dropped to 8-17 overall.

Beth Weinmann (Pompton Plains, NJ) hit a jumper 19:41 into the first half and the Roadrunners never looked back taking a 25-17 lead at halftime. Ramapo led by as much as 14 points after sophomore
Stephanie Cannizzaro (Pequannock, NJ) took a pass from Weinmann and hit a three pointer at 4:19 in the half. Cannizzaro led both teams with 13 points in the first half.
Ramapo went on a 14-0 run in the first, holding the Hawks to nine points for 8:47 until junior Andrea Buckham (Queens, NY) scored a jumper at 3:16. Buckham had nine points in the half and three boards.
The Roadrunners led by as many as 12 in the second half but the Hawks came back with in five points (36-31) when junior Shay Branch El-Vielot (Cambria Heights, NY) hit a jumper with 9:56 remaining in the half. Back to back jumpers by rookie
Lindsey Gripenburg (Bloomingdale, NJ) and Cannizzaro gave Ramapo an eleven point led with 3:15 to go. The Roadrunners held on in the final minutes of play for the win.
Cannizzaro scored 25 points to go along with eight boards while senior
Tiffany China (West Orange, NJ) scored 11 points and grabbed four rebounds. Weinmann recorded 12 boards adding four points on the night while senior
Cammille Mammolite (Scotch Plains, NJ) added two points.
For the Hawks, sophomore Megan McKenna (Rockaway, NY) and Buckham each scored 17 points while Buckham recorded a double-double as she ripped down 14 boards.
