Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo women's tennis team defeated Yeshiva University today at the Athletic Center. The Roadrunners improve to 10-8 while the Maccabees fall to 2-9.
The Roadrunners swept the Maccabees in singles play and took two out of three doubles matches for an 8-1 victory. Senior

Jen Finaldi (West Milford, NJ) and rookie
Lauren Finaldi (West Milford, NJ) swept their opponents 6-0, 6-0 to pick up points at fourth, fifth and sixth singles respectively.
Sophomore
Alison Tukel (Morris Plains, NJ fought back to defeat Stephanie Kimmel (Allentown, PA), 3-6, 6-1, (12) at first singles while senior
Lindsay Gerhard (Cape May, NJ) defeated Gabrielle Hess (New York, NY), 6-3 and 6-1 at second singles. Junior
Liza Wyble (Millville, NJ) posted a 6-3, 7-6, (5) victory at third singles over Miriam Bornstein (West Hempstead, NY).
Rookies
Erin Gerhard (Cape May, NJ) and
Kelsey Goddard (Surf City, NJ) teamed up at second doubles to sweep the team of Leah Michaels (Milwaukee, WI) and Hess, 8-0 before rookies
Nicole Lapsley and Maddy Albright (Ocean City, NJ) picked up a point for Ramapo at third doubles, 8-0.
The Roadrunners will return to action on Friday, April, 11th at home against Georgian Court at 4:00 PM
