Orlando, FL: The Ramapo College women's tennis team posted a tough, 9-0 loss to Calvin in the opening match-up of their Spring Break Florida trip. With the loss the Roadrunners fall to 8-8 overall while Calvin improves to 3-0.

At first singles, Melissa Oosterhouse defeated Alison Tukel (Morris Plains, NJ), 6-1, 6-1 before Liza Wyble (Millville, NJ) dropped a 6-1, 6-0 decision at second singles to Kaitlin Spoelhof. Jennifer Finaldi (West Milford, NJ) and Rebecca Drexl (Franklin, NJ) loss 6-0, 6-0 and 6-0, 6-3 respectively before Ashley Wnek (Colonia, NJ) and Lauren Finaldi# (West Milford, NJ) wrapped up singles action with 6-3, 6-1 and 6-1, 6-1 losses respectively.

Tukel and Wyble were defeated by the Calvin pair, 8-1 at first doubles and Drexl and Wnek and Kelsey Goddard (Surf City, NJ) and Erin Gerhard (Cape May, NJ) closed out doubles play each with 8-1 losses.

The Roadrunners return to action on March 13th when they face off with Salve Regina at 5:30 PM.
