New York, NY: The Ramapo College women's basketball team defeated the Bloodhounds of John Jay College, 51-46 on the road today. The Roadrunners improve to 5-5 overall while the Bloodhounds fall to 1-8.

Ramapo led after the first half, 28-26 behind senior Lauren Moschel (Fair Lawn, NJ) who scored seven points and sophomore Danielle Beam (Middletown, NJ) added five points and pulled down four rebounds.

Senior Tiffany China (West Orange, NJ) led the Roadrunners in the second half while they pulled away for a 51-46 victory. China scored ten points and grabbed two rebounds while Moschel added five more points and five rebounds.

Ramapo shot 17-52 (32%) from the field to John Jay's 19-66 (28%). The Roadrunners also shot 16-26 (61%) from the line to John Jay's 5-15 (33%).

China led all Roadrunners with 14 points while Moschel added 12 of her own. Junior Beth Weinmann (Pompton Plains, NJ) added six points and seven rebounds and two assists.

The Roadrunners return to action on January 3rd when they travel to the 1st Annual Key Largo Classic against Nichols College at 7:00 PM.
