Mahwah, NJ: The Lady Roadrunners played host to Rutgers Camden today posting a 2-0 loss in a New Jersey Athletic Conference match-up at the Athletic Center in Mahwah. With the loss, Ramapo falls to 10-7-1 overall, 3-4-1 in the conference while Rutgers Camden improves to 8-6-4, 2-4-2 in the conference.

The first half finished tied at zero after Ramapo out shot the Scarlet Raptors 10-2. The Scarlet Raptors came out strong in the second half and got on the scoreboard at 64:07 when Jessica Ramirez (Union, NJ) slipped through the defense posting her fourth goal of the 2007 season. Rutgers Camden took a two goal edge at 69:59 after Jordan Wright (Audubon, NJ) followed a shot by Lindy Iannacone (Riverton, NJ) that hit off the right goal post. Wright ripped the ball past the Ramapo goalkeeper taking the 2-0 lead. The goal was marked as Wright's sixth of the year.

Ramapo was unable to capitalize on a penalty kick awarded with just over eight minutes to play and senior net minder Kristen Cargen (Cherry Hill, NJ) blocked six shots in the final 45 minutes earning the shut out and the team's second conference win of the year.

Jessica DaRold (Sayreville, NJ) made three saves in the loss in the full 90 minutes of play.

Ramapo returns to action on October 24th when they travel to Montclair State for their final regular season match-up at 7:00 PM. Rutgers Camden will face off with NJCU in Jersey City, NJ at 3:00 PM.
