Mahwah, NJ:  The Ramapo College women's tennis team posted a 7-2 non-conference victory tonight over DeSales University at the Athletic Center in Mahwah to improve to 6-3 overall on the season.  The team recorded points in singles action from 
Lindsay Gerhard (Cape May, NJ) who defeated Liz Guidon, 6-1, 6-3 at second singles.  Ramapo then won the next four matches as 
Alison Tukel (Morris Plains, NJ) defeated Mary Kate McElvaney, 6-3, 6-3. 
Jennifer Finaldi (West Milford, NJ) posted a super tie-breaker victory of her own in the fourth spot while 
Liza Wyble (Millville, NJ) and 
Jennifer Murphy (Whiting, NJ) wrapped up singles action defeating Caitlin Gerlach (6-1, 6-4) and Nickie Brackbill (6-1, 6-2) of DeSales respectively.
In doubles action Ramapo's Gerhard and Wyble posted a 9-7 win at second doubles.  Murphy and Becky Drexl (Franklin, NJ) followed with an 8-4 win at third doubles for a 7-2 Ramapo victory.
The Roadrunners return to action on Saturday, September 30th when they travel to Stevens Institute for a non-conference match-up at 2:30 PM
