ROADRUNNERS TAKE ON RICHARD STOCKTON IN NJAC ACTION

Pomona, NJ - The Roadrunners improved to 12-4 overall, 5-4 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference when they defeated the Ospreys of Richard STockton College, 110-106 in a doub le overtime NJAC match-up tonight in Pomona.

Ramapo fell short 42-38 in the first half of play and then outscored Stockton 43-39 in the last 20 minutes for the force the game into overtime. With both teams sinking 14 in the first overtime period, the game was forced into a second overtime period. Ramapo recorded 15 points while the Ospreys hit only 11 earning the Roadrunners a 110-106 victory. Ramapo was led by Ahmad Mosby (Jersey City, NJ) who sunk 34 points shooting 9-16, 6-11 from the arc and 10-14 from the free throw line. Mosby added three steals while Rashawn Wilson (Jersey City, NJ) posted a double double with 28 points and 13 boards. Mike Malko added ten points for the team. Ramapo netted 37-77, 48% to the Ospreys 36-70, 51%.

The Ospreys were led by Miguel Rodriguez (Passaic, NJ) with 23 points and 10 rebounds while Mario Lancioni (Runnemede, NJ) netted 20 points and Kevin Holmes (Atlantic City, NJ) recorded 19 points.

Ramapo returns to action Saturday, January 21st, when they host NJAC rival NJCU for a 3:00 PM contest.
