Mahwah , NJ : The Ospreys of Richard Stockton visited the Bradley Center on the campus of Ramapo College for a NJAC match-up tonight in Mahwah. The Roadrunners posted a 78-67 victory improving to 12-2 overall, 7-1 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference while the Ospreys fall to 8-8 overall, 3-5 in the conference.
The Roadrunners took a 36-28 first half lead after shooting 14-36 (39%) from the field behind Stockton 's 9-19 (47%). The Roadrunners forced 16 Osprey turnovers while grabbing five steals in the first 20 minutes of play. In the second half, Ramapo led by as many as 11 and wrapped up the game shooting 31-67 (46%).
Sophomore center RASHAWN WILSON (Jersey City, NJ) posted a double-double leading the team with 23 points and ten rebounds while senior guard AMIN WRIGHT (Jersey City, NJ) shot 7-13 from the field netting18 points of his own. BENJAMIN ALLEN (Clifton, NJ ) and QUAMEIR HARDING (Jersey City, NJ ) recorded 15 and seven points respectively while HARDING grabbed two steals in the victory. ANTOINE PRYOR (Elizabeth, NJ) dished out a team-high three assists.
Stockton's Jose Rodriguez (Carteret, NJ) and Mario Lancioni (Runnemede, NJ) led the team with 17 and 13 points respectively while Brian Hiltner (Margate, NJ) and Kris Polk (Camden, NJ) posted 12 points each. Hiltner led the Ospreys in rebounds with eight and Polk dished out a team-high three assists while grabbing five steals.
Ramapo will travel to New Jersey City University on Saturday, January 22nd for a 7:00 PM start while Stockton will host Kean University for a NJAC match-up at 4:00 PM in Pomona.
