Mahwah , NJ : The Ramapo College women's soccer team posted an 11-0 victory today over the Cougars of Medgar Evers College. Ramapo improves to 5-6-1 overall while Medgar Evers falls to 3-7 for the year.

Rookie CHRISSY GIORDANO (Oakland, NJ) posted what turned out to be the game winner just over one minute into the game while rookie KIMBERLY HAINZL (Brick, NJ) and sophomore DANA CHIAPPONE (Marlboro, NJ) gave the Roadrunners a 3-0 lead netting one each at 6:08 and 8:30 respectively. Junior JESSICA STOVEKEN (Lyndhurst, NJ) added two back-to-back unassisted goals at 16:46 and 28:50 and rookie LYNDSAY KOTULA (Manalapan, NJ), CHIAPPONE, and DENA GITTO (Hazlet, NJ) ended the first half with goals at 35:01, 36:09, and 37:52 respectively.

In the second half, ELLYN ULTZ (Hackettstown , NJ ) recorded two goals and KOTULA added her second of the game downing the Cougars, 11-0 in Mahwah.

Rookie goalkeeper SAMANTHA GRIBBEN (Pequannock , NJ ) recorded one save in the shut out.

The Roadrunners will travel to Gwynned Mercy on Saturday, October 9th at 1:00 PM .
