Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's basketball team posted their fifth win of the season defeating the Dolphins of the College of Staten Island, 84-69. Ramapo now stands at 5-2 while CSI falls to 5-1 overall.
Senior captain JARED MILLIGAN (Ringwood, NJ) led the Roadrunners with 19 points and seven rebounds while senior CHARLES RANSOM (Jersey City, NJ) netted 14 of his own. RANSOM grabbed four boards and senior GREG MCBAIN (Wyckoff, NJ) led the team with 12 total rebounds. MCBAIN dished out three assists and AMIN WRIGHT (Jersey City, NJ) added three in the victory. Ramapo shot 30-62 (48%) from the floor over CSI's 24-72 (33%).
For the Dolphins, Matt Saunders (Yonkers, NY) recorded 19 points shooting 4-12 from the floor, 3-7 from behind the arc. Neville Lestrade (Staten Island, NY) and Michael Nebavlakis (Brooklyn, NY) each added double-doubles with 15 points and 14 rebounds and 14 points and ten boards respectively.
Ramapo will travel to Phoenix, AZ after the holiday for the 2003 Cactus Jam Tournament
