Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's basketball team remains undefeated, 5-0 overall, 3-0 NJAC, as the downed the Scarlet Raptors of Rutgers Camden, 93-77 today at the Athletic Center. Rutgers Camden falls to 2-4 overall, 1-2 NJAC.

Ramapo was down by four at the end of the first half and triumphed in the second half outscoring Camden by 20 points, 55-35. The team was led by junior CHARLES RANSOM (Jersey City, NJ) with 27 points and eight rebounds. RANSOM shot 10-18 from the floor while junior captain JAY DEGROAT (Middletown, NY) shot 6-11 recording 16 points in the game. JARED MILLIGAN (Ringwood, NJ) and ELIAZAR VELEZ (West New York, NJ) added 12 and 11 points respectively. MILLIGAN added eight rebounds. Senior point guard TENNYSON WHITTED (Jersey City, NJ) dished out 12 assists and BENJAMIN ALLEN (Clifton, NJ) totaled six.

Senior Rob Scott (Long Branch, NJ) led the Scarlet Raptors totaling 23 points and 17 boards while sophomore Tyrone Rucker (Pennsauken, NJ) netted 19 points and three boards of his own. Gene Mergenthal (Sicklerville, NJ) shot 4-8 from the floor and Chris Usilton (Sewell, NJ) shot 3-11, adding11 points each. Scott chipped in six assists in the game and Usilton added three.

The Roadrunners will host Rutgers Newark on Wednesday, December 11th at 7:30 PM.
