Mahwah, NJ: ­­The Roadrunners of Ramapo College remain undefeated after dropping the Scarlet Raiders of Rutgers Newark, 85-70. Ramapo improves to 6-0 overall, 4-0 NJAC while Rutgers Newark falls to 3-3 overall, 1-3 NJAC.

Ramapo opened the match-up on an 8-0 run and led by as many as 18 in the game. The Scarlet Raiders out shot the Roadrunners 48% to 44% despite their loss.

Junior CHARLES RANSOM (Jersey City, NJ) led the team posting a double-double with 24 points and ten boards while senior TENNYSON WHITTED (Jersey City, NJ) recorded a double-double of his own with 15 points and 11 assists. WHITTED added seven rebounds in the game. Juniors JAY DEGROAT (Middletown, NY) and JARED MILLIGAN (Ringwood, NJ) netted 16 and 13 points respectively.

For Rutgers Newark, Donald Parrish (Newark, NJ) recorded a career-high 30 points while adding seven boards and five assists. Chinedu Ibeh (Colonia, NJ) tallied 12 points and Boabdul Louison (Elizabeth, NJ) tallied nine.

The Roadrunners will travel to Kean University on Saturday, December 14th at 4:00 PM.
