Almeda wraps up her senior season with the final NJAC Defensive Player of the Week honor. She tallied 36 digs in a 1-1 week as the Roadrunners advanced to the second round of the ECAC Tournament. She also posted a .936 passing percentage with three assists and one ace. Almeda scooped 26 digs in the opening round win over Cedar Crest and added 10 more in the loss to McDaniel. Almeda finishes her Ramapo career ranked fourth on the Roadrunners’ all-time digs list (1,083). The 2019 NJAC Defensive Player of the Year also finished atop the league rankings with 6.31 digs per set this season, nearly a dig per set higher than the next leading player.
