Almeda earns her third NJAC Defensive Player of the Week honor after leading Ramapo to a 3-0 week, including a win over Rutgers-Camden to secure a spot in the NJAC Tournament. She averaged 6.10 digs and 1.5 assists per set with a .966 passing percentage. She scooped 28 digs in the 3-1 win over the Scarlet Raptors, and added 19 and 14 respectively in sweeps of Brooklyn and York (NY). She also served up eight aces against York. Almeda currently leads all NJAC players with 6.16 digs per set this season.
