Brown earns NJAC Track Athlete of the Week honors after traveling to New York City to compete at the NJAC Championships contested at the New York Armory. He placed first in a field of 24 competitors in the 60-meter dash with an ECAC qualifying and conference-record time of 6.89. He also placed third in a field of 22 competitors in the 200 meters with a time of 22.28. He also competed in the long jump event, placing second in a field of 12 jumpers with an ECAC qualifying and season-best mark of 6.69 meters. In addition to his individual efforts, he competed as a member of the Roadrunners’ 4x200 meter relay which placed third with a time of 1:30.31. His time in the 60 meter dash (6.89) currently ranks as the fifth best Division III mark in the nation. The performances by Brown helped Ramapo earn a second place finish in the nine-team NJAC Championship.
