Ecckhout earns NJAC Rookie of the Week honors after helping Ramapo improve to 2-0 on the season with a 145.5-116.5 meet victory over Drew. In just the second competition of his collegiate career, he placed first in both the 100 breaststroke and the 200 individual medley with respective winning times of 59.74 and 2:00.22. He also was a member of the Roadrunners’ first-place 200 medley relay which posted a winning time of 1:38.92. The performance by Ecckhout in the 200 breaststroke currently stands as the second-best NJAC time in the event this season.
