Scarpis earns NJAC Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week honors after traveling to Towson, MD to compete at the Towson University Invitational. She placed fifth in a field of 15 competitors in the triple jump with a mark of 11.37 meters. She also placed ninth in a field of 27 in the long jump with a leap of 4.88 meters. The performance by Scarpis in the triple jump currently stands as the 18th-best mark recorded in the event in all of NCAA Division III this season.
