Hernandez picks up his second straight NJAC Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week honor after a strong performance at the historic Penn Relays at Franklin Field over the weekend. In a field of NCAA Division I and professional runners, Hernandez clocked a 4:02.52 mile. He finished as the highest non-Division I/professional runner in the race. He also anchored the DMR to a school record time of 9:59.11 with a mile split of 4:03.13; the DMR finished fifth out of 17. Hernandez currently ranks second in NCAA Division III in the 1500, as his mile time was converted to the 1500 on the national list.
