Mathys earns NJAC Men’s Swimming and Diving Rookie of the Week honors after competing at the Roadrunners’ season-opening 124-62 victory over FDU-Florham. In the first meet of his collegiate career, Mathys claimed first-place in the 50 freestyle with a time of 22:00.08. He also was a member of Ramapo’s 200 medley and 400 freestyle relays which produced respective winning times of 1:42:37 and 3:22.00.
