Edwards earns NJAC Women’s Indoor Rookie of the Week honors after competing in Springfield College’s own Invitational. Individually, she took home second place in the 60 meter hurdles in a field of six runners with a runner-up mark of 9.71. She also placed third in the triple jump in a field of 26 competitors with an ECAC qualifying mark of 11.17 meters. Edwards was also a member of the Roadrunners’ first-place 4x200 relay, which produced an ECAC qualifying mark of 1:49.93. The performance by Edwards in the triple jump currently ranks as the best NJAC mark and the 17th best leap nationally in all of Division III this season.  For her efforts Edwards was also awarded ECAC Division III Rookie of the Week.
