Alferez earns NJAC Rookie of the Week honors after contributing to a 161-101 victory over Scranton. Individually, he produced first-place showings in both of the 200 backstroke and the 200 individual medley with respective winning times of 2:01.91 and 2:05.85. He also was a member of the Roadrunner’s first-place 200 medley relay with a winning mark of 1:38.64. The performance by Alferez in the 200 individual medley currently ranks as the 16th best time in the NJAC this year.
