Furman earns NJAC Field Athlete of the Week honors for the fourth consecutive week after competing at East Stroudsburg University’s All-American meet. She placed first in a field of 22 competitors in the discus with a meet-record and an ECAC qualifying toss of 44.34 meters. She also placed second in a field of 15 throwers in the shot put with an ECAC qualifying mark of 12.27 meters. Furman, who holds the top NJAC performances this season in the discus, the shot put, and the hammer throw events, currently holds the seventh best mark in the discus in all of NCAA Division III (44.74 meters).
