Furman becomes the second different Roadrunner to earn NJAC Field Athlete of the Week honors after competing in the Met Championships hosted by Ramapo. She placed first in field of 18 competitors in the discus with an ECAC qualifying and school-record throw of 45.13 meters. She also claimed eighth place in the shot put with a mark of 10.80 meters. The winning performance by Furman in the discus currently ranks as the third best mark in the event in NCAA Division III this season.
