Furman becomes the third different Roadrunner to earn NJAC Women’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week honors after traveling to Middletown, CT to compete at the Collegiate Track Conference Championships hosted by Wesleyan University. She placed third in a field of 32 competitors in the shot put with an ECAC qualifying toss of 11.63 meters. She also placed third in a field of 23 throwers in the weight throw with a season-best and ECAC qualifying throw of 14.29 meters. The performances by Furman helped Ramapo place fourth overall in the 17-team CTC Championship.
