Hughes earns NJAC Rookie of the Week honors for the seventh consecutive week after notching 14 points and 21 draw controls during a 1-1 week of play for the Roadrunners. She opened the week by tallying four goals, six draw controls, two ground balls, and two caused turnovers in an 18-5 road defeat at St. Joseph’s-Long Island. She wrapped up her freshman season by producing 11 goals and one assist for 12 points, while adding 15 draw controls, three ground balls, and three caused turnovers during a 16-15 NJAC victory over Rutgers-Camden. Hughes currently leads the NJAC in both goals per game (5.47) and draw controls per game (10.00).
