Kohler was named NJAC Rookie of the Week after leading Ramapo to its first conference victory of the season. The freshman forward averaged 14.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 3.5 assists while shooting 62.5 percent from the f ield (10-for-16) and 88.9 percent from the free-throw line (8-for-9). She posted a career-high 20 points on 6-of-10 shooting in Tuesday’s 73-48 victory at Rutgers-Newark, adding five rebounds and five assists in the Roadrunners’ f irst NJAC win. Kohler followed with eight points, seven rebounds and two assists in Friday’s loss to Rowan. She also recorded two steals for the week as Ramapo improved to 1-1 in conference play. Kohler is chipping in 8.9 points per game in conference play in her rookie season.
